![]() To me, this is what made CD audio awesome: Being able to listen to the soundtrack outside of the game. In most cases, you could put the game CD in a CD player and start listening to the music without having to play the game itself. Not only could you hear the awesome music in game, you could listen to it outside of the game. The Github releases come with libraries for Ground Zero, The Reckoning and Zaero. Since v0.5.0 the port supports mission packs and other mods with custom game code. You can use the Quake II demo for this, read the README on Github for details. To install it, just unzip nxquake2_r6.zip to the root of your SD card, then copy the baseq2 folder from your Quake II installation to /switch/nxquake2/. hardware accelerated rendering using YQ2's G元 renderer.
